We are proud to present Hired with a grant as part of the Legacy of Caring program

After a nomination from Associated Benefits and Risk Consulting (ABRC), the staffing company Hired received a $9,000 grant from Westfield Insurance Foundation as part of the Westfield Legacy of Caring program. ABRC and Westfield are committed to giving back to their communities and helping those in need. The Legacy of Caring program invests in communities and helps impact disaster recovery, family stability or safety, and programs that invest in attracting and developing talent to insurance as a career.  

Mardi Burns featured in Business Health Care Group’s Spotlight on Success: Meeting the engagement challenge

Throughout her decades in the employee benefits world, Mardi Burns has helped design, implement and manage the full spectrum of health and welfare benefit plans for countless employers. Burns is senior vice president and senior benefits consultant for Associated Benefits and Risk Consulting (ABRC). ABRC was formerly known as the Jabas Group until its client of 25 years, Associated Bank, purchased the organization in 2004. 


Westfield Insurance Foundation’s Legacy of Caring Fund Benefits Urban Homeworks

Urban Homeworks received a grant from Westfield Insurance Foundation thanks to the help of Associated Benefits and Risk Consulting (ABRC).  The grant is part of the Westfield Legacy of Caring program, which invites Westfield independent insurance agents to nominate a local nonprofit in the areas of disaster recovery, insurance pathways, family stability or safety. 

Business Insurance Consultant Mohammad El-Sawaf gives back through the Children’s Defense Fund

Community involvement is a vital thread in the fabric of our company, even woven into our core Visions and Values. In 2016, an overwhelming number of colleagues demonstrated their commitment to our communities, collectively volunteering more than 62,000 hours across numerous events — helping us reach 124% of our volunteer goal. Recently, we talked with ABRC Business Insurance Consultant Mohammad El-Sawaf, about his work with the Children’s Defense Fund, where he has been a volunteer since 2015.
